Senator Rick Metsger will embark on a statewide
tour to build support for major investment in Oregon’s highway
transportation system. The Moving Oregon Transportation Tour
will focus on local transportation needs and priorities, with
business and community leaders contributing their ideas for a
sustainable solution. As Chair of the Senate Business and
Transportation Committee, Senator Metsger has spent countless
hours addressing the transportation problems facing Oregon.
During the legislative session, he heard from many industry
leaders, and from city and county officials. Now, he wants to
hear from Oregon’s communities about the transportation issues
they face every day.
